"Anvari" and "Sunk" both build anticipation with a steady groove, meandering chords and plucked synths, before opening up to succession of emotionally charged pianochords. Although structured similarly, each track has an altogether different vibe to it: with its fluttering synths, "Anvari" seems to float a couple of metres above ground, while "Sunk" does the exact opposite, building drama on top of a bassheavier, grittier and darker groove. Thom Nagy's decade long career behind the decks shows it's obvious influence in the steady and deliberate pace, holding these tracks together.
